The staff

Our staff keep life at Lineham ticking over nicely. Meet them here.

Jim, Head of Centre

I'm the new manager at Lineham Farm and love working in the countryside after working for many years in the city!

Arlene, Chef

I’m in charge of food at Lineham – and we eat the healthiest, tastiest food ever. I use the food we grow here on the allotment which makes meal times extra special. Looking forward to feeding you!

Penny P, Deputy

I'm very passionate about the environment and especially the new honey bees we have at the farm!

Becky, Domestic Star

The Farm’s a muddy place so it’s my job to help keep everything sparkling clean. I also help Arlene in the kitchen when she is busy.

Tamzin, Action Woman

I’m an outdoors chick. I run mountain biking and climbing session, and I love walking too. You’ve got to keep warm (did you know you can lose 40% of your body heat from your head?) and I’ve got a brilliant hat collection – my favourite is a pink one from Nepal.

Paul, Action Man

I work at Lineham running the kids’ biking sessions. I love cycling – I even cycle in to the Farm in the mornings. The kids love it when I take them through muddy puddles, the deeper and dirtier the better.

Richard, Animal Care

I like to fix things around the farm and look after all our animals. I love cycling with my family at the weekends.

Helen, Environment

The kids love learning about the environment as much as I love teaching it. I’m totally wild about wildlife – you should hear my brilliant birdsong impressions.

Jo, Environment

I work with Helen teaching the children about nature and introducing them to growing vegetables.  The best part is picking the produce and taking it in to Arlene in the kitchen to cook for tea.

Hannah, Fundraiser

I am currently on maternity leave, after the arrival of my new baby boy!

Clare, Fundraiser & Event Co-ordinator

I am working on my own in the fundraising office at the moment, organising events and raising money for the farm.

Penny, Admin / Finance

I work in the main reception office and I am responsible for booking all the schools in. Winters are always really cold at Lineham so spring is my favourite time of year, especially when all the lambs are born.

Hilary

I come to Lineham once a week as a volunteer, helping Hannah and Penny with the finances. I used to work in a bank so I’m pretty good with numbers.
